The annual Tag Day event is one of our biggest fund raisers for the band program. Tag Day is a door-to-door effort where the band members canvass the neighborhoods surrounding BWHS, requesting donations and promoting all Band Programs, especially the upcoming performances at competitions and home football games. Parents drive groups of students around to the various neighborhoods and supervise the students as they hand out fliers, converse with the members of the community, and collect donations. A receipt is available for tax donation purposes.

The Music Boosters support the Briar Woods Band Programs largely through the help of our parent volunteers. The Tag Day Event is planned and supervised each year by just such a volunteer. Click here to see what it takes to be the Tag Day Coordinator.
