Main responsibilities

• Promote all Band activities and Music Booster fund raisers at school and in the community by writing articles, press releases and creating flyers.
• Submit information and photos to the following: BWHS newsletter and website; the Music Boosters web site; the message board; local newspapers; neighborhood newsletters and websites; and other social media.
• Post promotional flyers at school and with neighborhood and community associations.

Time required per week/per month and during the day/evening or weekend

• Up to five hours per week. This position is flexible regarding day, evening and weekends.

Key skills required

• Computer skills in Microsoft Word and other programs, such as Adobe or Powerpoint.
• Effective writing and editing skills.
• Photography skills would be helpful.

Other information

• Familiarity with social media.
