Main responsibilities

  • Attendance at monthly Board and general membership meetings to report on financial status.
  • Budget creation for Board approval and monthly updating of budgets.
  • Approving expenses, allocating funds and making payments.
  • Tracking expenses.
  • Collecting checks from safe in Mr. Minnick’s office by end of school day.
  • Inputting to accounts and making physical deposits to banks of monies received.
  • Balancing accounts.
  • Tracking unpaid fees and following up with individual parents.
  • Filing yearly taxes and VA State registration forms.
  • Managing $250,000(+) in funds and expenses.

Time required per week/per month and during the day/evening or weekend

  • On average, 15 hours per week
    • More time in August – November
    • Less time in December – July.
