Main responsibilities

• Fit all members of Marching Band with uniforms.
• Organize hemming/sewing of pant hems if required.
• Undertake dry cleaning of uniforms 2 – 3 times during the school year.
• Supervise “end of event” collection of uniforms into closet.
• Order Marching shoes/gloves/other supplies as required.
• Produce list of Marching students and their uniform numbers for posting in uniform closet.

Time required per week/per month and during the day/evening or weekend

• Early August for 1-2 weeks, it will take 3-4 hours per day to fit uniforms.
• Hemming can be done at the same time.
• During Football/Marching season attend events to supervise distribution and collection of uniforms from and back into closet. These typically are on Fridays and Saturdays.

Key skills required

• Patience! Some sewing but it is not required.
